Over ten years ago I was part of a project that aimed to find out what would happen if we asked about people’s ordinary everyday engagements with porn. What we gathered is still highly unusual as a collection of ordinary people’s words on the subject of pornography. 5,490 people completed our questionnaire and were extraordinarily open with us about their sex lives, pleasures, desires, and fantasies.
